Auditions

Auditions and How to Join

OPAYCO would like to welcome our new director, Ms. Erica Boland, to the organization. In lieu of the normal audition process this year we would like to allow students to register and participate in the 2017-2018 Season through the recommendation of their teacher and not through an audition-based system. We would like to welcome string students in 6th through 12th grades interested in the challenge of performing in a chamber orchestra performing the works of Handel, Mozart, Vivaldi, and more.
Ms. Boland would love to perform a movement from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in each of the concerts: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. If you are interested in being a soloist in this capacity, an audition on your chosen season will be required. Pick your favorite movement, prepare it, audition, and if selected, you will perform your chosen movement as the soloist in one of the concerts.
Please complete the following registration form and include your teacher’s recommendation describing how they believe you will be a good fit for our organization.
We are looking forward to a new and exciting season making beautiful music.
